This notice describes how DodoServicesBikes handles data in the Android app and on this website. It is not legal advice.
1. Controller
The operator of the app and this website is named in the imprint below. Until that section is filled in, please treat the imprint fields as placeholders.
2. App data on your device
DodoServicesBikes is designed to work offline. Bikes, components, service intervals, service history, photos you assign to a bike, and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a user account or a central app database for this content.
3. Optional Strava connection
If you connect Strava, the app requests access so it can match ride distance to bikes with the same name. Access and refresh tokens are stored on the device. Token exchange uses our OAuth helper at dodos-delight.com. Activity data is processed only to add kilometres to matching local bikes. You can disconnect Strava in the app. Strava is an independent controller for its own service.
4. Google Play and purchases
The app is distributed via Google Play. Extra bike slots are sold as in-app products. Google processes the purchase. We only keep a local record of purchased slots on the device.
5. Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app can remind you about due or overdue service intervals. These reminders are created on the device.
6. Backup export and import
You can export a password-protected backup file and import it again. The file stays under your control (for example in your chosen folder or cloud). We do not receive a copy of the backup.
7. This website
This site stores your language choice (EN/DE) in the browser’s local storage. It loads fonts from Google Fonts. The Play badge is loaded from Google. There is no analytics tracker and no advertising cookie on this site.
8. Your rights
Depending on applicable law (for example the GDPR), you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For app data stored only on your device, you can delete it by removing bikes or uninstalling the app.
